It comes as no surprise that Torsby Ski
Tunnel has become a favourite among
cross-country skiers from all over Sweden,
Norway – and even Russia.
Torsby Ski Tunnel is the first – and still
the only – ski establishment in Scandinavia
that offers perfect tracks nearly every
month of the year.
– There’s room for everyone in the
tunnel. From beginners and average skiers
to the world elite, says Linda Danielsson.
The ski tunnel is part of the Torsby
Sports Centre a few kilometres north of the
urban area, along Road E45. In the winter,
there are also many ski tracks of varying
character and length available in natural
terrain. There is also a family-oriented
resort, offering downhill skiing, cross-
country skiing and snowboarding.
Torsby Sports Centre is an official
Vasalopp Centre for biking, running and
skiing.
– This means that Vasaloppet has appro-
ved the standard of the resort in accordance
with the criteria that are important in
preparing for the races they offer.
You can rent both apparel and ski gear in
the shop. Once you have bought a ski pass it
is time to head out for a training session.

your next training session, you will choose

attached to the rest of the facilities.
Another advantage is that you can
tailor your stay at the Torsby Sports Hotel
according to your own wishes. If you
want to be self-sufficient, you can book
self-catering accommodation and cook
your own meals in the kitchen. You bring
your own bed linen, towel and do your
own cleaning before departure.

having to think about cooking, washing
up or cleaning – then you can upgrade
your stay with the services you want when
you make your booking.

All rooms have two regular beds and a
sofa bed with room for two people. There
is also a private toilet and shower, as well
as a TV. In the kitchen there is a fridge
and a freezer for those who wish to bring
their own food. Rooms can be booked via
