Eventcenter works closely with most of
the local hotels and tailors all kinds of
adventures to both small and large groups.
Peter Eriksson knows how to spice up a
conference or a meeting in order to give the
participants, the company or the organisa-
tion an even better experience. And so he
started Eventcenter in Sunne AB along with
his brother Mikael Eriksson. They have been
growing the business for many years and
today present 27 activities on their website.
– We have based our idea on what the
natural surroundings in Värmland have
to offer – all year round, he says. We have
amazing outdoors. The wilderness can
often be found just around the corner
from the hotels. Our traditions in hunting,
fishing and forestry go way back and
have been the source of inspiration for
activities like loading timber with a tractor,
jig fishing on the lake and shooting.
Eventcenter is based
at Akka Skidsta-
dion, located right next to the main road
within walking distance from both Selma
Spa+ and Hotel Selma Lagerlöf.
– Sunne is a vibrant district with cultural
traditions and plenty of nice places to visit,
Peter continues. Therefore we start our bike
rides with a stop at Kolsnäs where you’ll
find Sunne Water Park, camping and beach.
We continue on towards Rottneros, Sunne
GK with the golf course, Västanås Theatre
and Berättarladan. Then we head up into
the woods!
– Team building is about engaging
people in an activity that demands
cooperation, Peter says. Communication is
important – both sharing and listening.
