popular, they’re a

This is a place with a marine feel where
you can celebrate a 70th birthday party or
enjoy a good concert in the summer. A place
where socialising and entertainment meet.
Brothers Mattias and Andreas Olsson
feel that they have succeeded with their idea.
On the quay in the port of Arvika by Lake
Glafsfjorden in Värmland, they have built
and created exactly the kind of entertainment
venue they felt was missing in Sweden. Once
inside the portal you take the doors, wooden
jetties and stairs to the particular setting you
are looking for that day.
Inside there is a restaurant which stays
open all year round, two bars, two lounges,
a nightclub, as well as conference and
banqueting facilities. Partly fitted with
sturdy shelters against all kinds of weather
– there are two stages for live music, two
bars, an outdoor restaurant with 200 seats
and a roof terrace.
– This mix is unique, says Mattias. Our
food has always been the main focus of our
business. Then we’ve added entertainment
and an atmosphere that allows for people
to meet and socialise.
Those who wish
can spend an entire
summer’s day on Olssons Brygga. Come
here for a late lunch on the terrace and finish
with coffee and a cake in the comfortable
sofas facing the sunny south. Time flies
when you are in good company. The cool
breeze from the lake feels nice. If you want
some shade you just find a seat under one of
the large sails.
